Our Beginning
President Michael Venezio opened Northeastern Insurance in 2013, after working for a national carrier for years. His brother, Joseph Venezio joined the business shortly after, and they have been growing the company for the past nearly 11 years! Northeastern Insurance currently has a total of 25 employees that are licensed to handle just about everything in house to provide exceptional service for all of your insurance needs. Both Michael and Joseph were born and raised in the Capital Region, as well as the majority of our team. It is very important to the agency to continuously stay involved and give back to our community to leave a positive impact for years to come.

Best Insurance Agent- Our Services
Our Account Managers on the Service Team are always available to assist with any of your insurance needs once your policies are in place. At each policy renewal, we will perform a courtesy policy review to ensure you are always receiving the most competitive rate. We will confirm all of your information is up to date, and if you experience any rate increases we can shop your policy through our other available carriers and discuss any potentially available discounts.

Giving Back
Northeastern Insurance makes it a priority and commitment to serve and give back to our local community here in the Capital Region.
Recent Donations
In October 2023, which is nationally observed as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Northeastern Insurance donated $5,000.00 to the American Cancer Society – Making Strides of Albany, by participating in a company-wide fundraiser. Our team wore pink daily to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.
In December 2022, Northeastern Insurance donated $15,000 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Our partner carriers Liberty Mutual/Safeco Insurance awarded the agency with the Make More Happen Award to receive the first $10,000, and the agency added an additional $5,000 to bring the total to $15,000.
Annual Volunteer Week
This June, we will be hosting our second annual Volunteer Week! Last June, our first year, our agents volunteered each day of the week at a local organization, including the Ronald McDonald House, Salvation Army, Veterans Miracle Center, Things of My Very Own, and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. With 100% employee participation, we are excited to give back to a variety of causes in the community.
